interior design workshops

mood boards

Anyone who has decorated their own home recognises the agonies of having chosen the wrong colour or finding out to late that the radiator is in the wrong place. Everything must be considered in advance. When you do it in the right order it all starts to fall into place.

Sasha has designed a programme of informal workshops, so that by learning to plan ahead you will not only develop your own creativity but also have the confidence to carry it through.

The classes will be held over a period of four days and there will be no more than six in the class, so that you can have indiviual attention. The classes in 2008  will be held in East Sussex and there will be a light lunch provided, and at the end of the course you will take home with you a pack of essential information, a sample board and a  most importantly new way of looking at interior design.

In these workshops Sasha will explain:-

  • Planning ahead .
  • The process that goes into creating a look.
  • Planning what furniture to use in a scheme.
  • Proportions and fitted cupboards
  • Choosing soft furnishings, fabrics and curtains
  • How to use colour to create a mood
  • Acquiring the art of arranging pictures and object d’art by eye.
  • Making up a sample boards.
